Man, it’s like this stuff just writes itself. Well, in fact I guess it does. I’m just continuosly amazed at how easy it is too find complete hilarity in the Canucks community.
I look for sweet quotes to post here every day, and it quickly becomes the most entertaining AND easy part of my job. It’s an endless supply of Canuck-tastic gold!
I implore you to just spend 5 minutes lurking around the Canucks.com message board and you will be enlightened.
Here are a few gems….just from today! It’s enough to make our first ever Canuck Quote-a-Palooza!
Topic: “wat position is the canucks gonna be in the nhl?” –luongo61
(apparently Canucks fans get internet access from inside a soviet gulag…and…if 60 people before you have chosen the name “luongo”, why be the 61st? really.)
This is from a topic about how many goals the Canuck’s will score this season: “if on the first line with sundin and demitra,,,,,…..raymond 40 goals” – ovechkintime
(If by goals he means shots, and by Raymond he means “Ovechkin”)
And heres a topic, and a statement, that really struck a chord with message boarders:

Canucks Blog Contest Heating Up

We here at GoCanuckYourself.com attempted to get in the running to be featured as the official Canucks Blog for the upcoming season but we were denied under the grounds of “too many wiener jokes” and “grammatical equivalent to hari kari”.
Whatever the crap those mean.
So instead we’ll be relegated to another season of pooping on everybody else in their attempts at wit and introspective commentary.
