Bernier Signs With Canucks - Blues Still Laughing At Us

Granted, tossing 2.5 million at Bernier is a tad less douchey than the Canucks $7.5-million offer sheet they gave to forward David Backes. But it was still essentially a public tickle fight between these two.

Anywho, welcome aboard Senor Bernier, we look forward to the additional 32 points in 76 games you are going to be adding to our anemic, soft and depleted offensive core. (Can somebody please let Pavol Demitra know that its totally cool if he needs to crach on my couch for a couple weeks)

    I actually enjoyed the offer-sheet-off. I couldn’t help but laugh! If Gillis can make the off season this entertaining, I look forward to the intermissions at GM place this October..

    I think Bernier will be good with the Sedins, but I’m also going to play the “we’ll have to wait and see” card…

    Bernier is now the most talented forward on the squad. Lets hope he is a good fit beside the sisters or Pavol.
